A red sea glass rose in a jar. A reminder that beauty comes in infinite forms and can be seen in anything if only we take the time to look.

Red glass was originally made by infusing gold into the glass making process. This may be why red is one of the rarer and more desirable colours of sea glass that can be found. All of my sea glass has been hand collected by myself on South Wales beaches.

Sea glass is a wonderful story of transformation, and one that resonates deeply with me. Every single piece was originally a part of something delicate and fragile. It was used, regarded as worthless, and thrown away. It was broken into pieces, and damaged beyond all recognition. It was then nurtured by nature, transformed into something totally unique and beautiful in its own way, and carried by the waves to be rediscovered and appreciated by someone who sees so much more than a broken piece of glass❤️
